I want to make a map with alternate routes that are dificult to get through, they are not really backdoor entrances but I still want it to be hard to pass by ground, but not impossible, of caurse air is always going to get through :(, (they shoulda made some terrain option that would stop air from passing through =P).
I don't want to do another map with blocking minerals, neutral buldings might be an ok sollution. what would be the best one is to have neutral units that attack if enemy walks close to them, is there anyway to do this? or are there other solutions to make paths hard to pass?
Another way I am using in a diferent map is to have a lower ground area of the path that passess by an area that is going to already be well protected (such as an entrance choke).
neutral units that attack...no way in melee. Of course you could have a low ground path close to the enemy base, if your opponent has anything on the high ground, it will be hard to pass :D
Also always remember pathfinding issues, think of that before you even make the map !
