Very experimental map. Mains contain 13 mineral patches, 9 of which are 500, and 4 are 1500. No gas in main, 2 geysers on your nat, one of which is depleted. Min onlies contain 1500 minerals, except the center 4 patches, which contain 3500 minerals. The main idea was to have a macro fight at the start, whilst your resources in your main deplete fast. After this, due to the sudden loss of resources, the fight over the minonlies should become very fierce. That's the plan behind this map.
I dont like how those 12 and 6 oclock mineral lines are positioned. They should be horizontal and along the edge of the map and not against a cliff with a player's base on the other side.

it probably will have some balancing issues, but i think even if - on this map, you'll be able to erase them afterwards easily

I've let mireille and predy play 2 test games on this map. What I've discovered was:
-500 mins on those minerals is too little, mines too fast.
-depleted geyser didn't do much.
-T can overrun P too easily with m&m and a few tanks in early game due to lack of gas for P.

Updates I made:
-Edited the 500-min patches to 750 min patches.
-Gave the depleted geyser 1000 gas in it.
-Gave the islands 3 mineral patches to prevent CC fly-to (doesn't display in pic, was too lazy to update that in the pic afterwards).

Thanks to Mireille and Predy for co-operating on some matches! ^^
btw, finally someone picking up the idea of permafrost!

Bottom main bases have alot more building space at mains, and red main base is smaller then teal.

It's hard to change that, I'll see what I can do, but it's not that important as most buildings should be built outside the main anyhow.

Yeah, but the problem is that 2 and 11 are really close to eachother in this case.
awesome map, but i highly recommend making the walls looking smoother...they give the map a "newbie"-touch from the look, which is misleading
If you want to give this map a makeover, go ahead. I'm not that good in decorating and stuff.
i dont get how terran plays TvZ here. zerg expos and just mass sunkens cuz he know all terran can make is marines then double gas gg

or he sees terran instead go for fast expo and just contains with speedlings that he gets from the gas once expos
bunker + marines + fastexpo = 2gas for terran. T>Z
we can proceed dumb and silly and useless theorycrafting if you want.

Inept, you do realize that wouldn't prove anything considering that your skill level is higher than yours, do you?
btw, is the odd gas placement on purpose? you can only be "3-worker-close" to one gas.
It wasn't on purpose in the start, but I like it now. Otherwise, you'd get a huge gas boost without using too much workers.
i think valkyrion plays Terran and hes B-...maybe we will play game on it if he agrees
More people should be be willing to make experimental maps I think.
One day something useful and new will come out of it
