help with posting new map! page: 1 | ||
| hey guys how goes it. im gonna go straight to the point: i cant upload any maps now. ive already made 5 maps that successfully made its way on the database, no troubles at all. when try to upload this map, it says: "You did not upload a *.scm/*.scx file as map, a jpg/gif file for the image or one of your files was bigger than 500000 Bytes. Also, make sure your melee map has the correct name ( (n)!" though i did upload a *scx file, a jpg file, all of which were less than 500,000 bytes, and had appropriate names. ive tried uploading each file seperately (melee ver, obs ver, picture) and countless variations of the other necessities, and these countelss variations failed. is my map REALLY that horrible? i just wanted others to comment and criticize on it so i can become better :( | ||

| Make sure it's (x)map(n) and a 768x768 jpg. Mail it to iuliuspwnsall@yahoo.com and I'll upload it for you (or try) if you can't get it to work. | ||

| I always have this problem whe i upload a new map. xD First, I upload the map file, i write author name, paswword, etc... and i push "Go" After, i push "Edit map" and i add the picture, and it works. :P All my picture have more than 500kb. I think it's because of it. modified by ProTosS4EveR | ||

| might you want to use smaller pics then (less quality), P4E? This just adds to the load on the server, and there is not all that much space left. | ||
