Recently I've asked at ICCup forums about adding 'non-Korean' maps with start of new season. ICCUP.Myu PMed me that he is interested in 'heavily standard/balanced maps'. Maybe someone of you should contact him? I'm not up to date with new maps but I remember that two or three years ago Shine was very popular, same with Faoi.
You could ask the admins to start up MOTM again and have Myu just look at that every month? Lol dunno...would be nice if we could get some of our maps onto ICCup
Meaning like 6 people log on once a week...wish there was some incentive for people to go on this site more...lol weekly tournament featuring one of our maps on iccup?
I don't think it's necessary for there to be tons of people logging on each week, as long as maps are posted. Plus if we do get maps onto iccup it will increase traffic anyway .
Melting Pot by bwm; remove the dwebs and haluc'd minerals (if they're even on the map) and it's "standard"
Cross Game by Crystaldrag and Freakling
Gemlong by JungleTerrain
Amontillado by JungleTerrain
Blackout by LastCurse. This one probably needs some work before it's ready for competetive play (it's a little sloppily executed).
Lucid Dream by Freakling. Move the geyser to the front base instead of the backdoor and it's sort of standard. Can remove the center expo too. Might need some additional editing to guarantee the mains are big enough.
I've been focusing more on ladder recently, but if needed, I can come back to mapping. I'm done with high school, so this summer I can spend some time mapping.
I am [3S]Shaise, Jungleterrain, and Zergz @ICCup. I am mostly on [3S]Shaise, and you can PM me.
As soon as I've done with the new map pack I am going to make some contact with ICCup admins, I'll also probably publish it on TL, and hopefully we finally get to run a torunament. Maybe we can go from there...
Ramps create imbalances I dont think Oxide should be submitted, its interesting and I like it but I just dont feel itll be balanced enough for good play
Says it was made by freakling...well first of all the ramps...no inverted ramps for one and also from low ground to mid ground theres only one ramp so a ground force could easily be held off after that just repel drops and you should be good with 4 gas/5 bases
No, all those straight vertical edges also act as ramps and that's where the main routes for army travel are. The small ramps (and the small gap in the middle) are mostly intended for fast rushes/runbys/backstabs/harrassments...
