it is, if you know your theorycraft. on lotem, besides 12/3, it's slightly z>p (the same amount as sattar). and what is sattar? it's lotem without any 12/3 possibilities...

the reasons for sattar PvZ imbalance are different. PvZ on sattar is (from teh statistics) more imbalanced than on LT (where is only slight imbalance).

-sattarchasm has a cliff directly above the mins, without space behind. this is paradise for lurkers and makes lurkerdrops a more than viable strategy - remember, you hardly hear the sound of lurks hitting eco from above. sure, PSI also works from above - but psi works anyway when dropped next to the eco, no need for a cliff to do that.

-the amount of gas. sattarchasm is full of gas, much more than on LT. this is an icredible gas booster for Z, more than for P.

acutally i think that the lurker drop is the meanest thing on the map, now it's like a perfectly working strat against P.

Actually, if done right, you could block the gas on the gasexpansions with doodads and minerals with a lower mineralcount like 500 to make it a late gas boost. With the small cliff changes to get ~3 canons behind the mineralline and that small change, the map should be more balanced in that MU.

well, i would just recommend something a guest once told here (dunno remember who and where):

-make space behind the natural mineral lines so you can easily build cannons behind.
-for decreasing the amount on gas, either make 1 gas with only 1500-2000 gas in it, or add 2 depleted geysers. the first option would cut the amount of lategame gas, which weakens Z in ZvP. the other option would halve the _income_ of gas permanently (two depleted = 1/2 income of 1 normal), but you'd have this rate "forever". this would hurt zerg even more, also in ZvT because you need 6 workers to get the half income of (normally) 3 (in 1 gas).

i would think of the first option, the latter seems too hating for zerg ;[
