inept: it has nothing to do with proximity mines ;)And you are right this map really looks like pirate love. I saw this map today for a first time. The straight lines will be fixed, and the map will be pimped, but its still a beta.

proximity alert as i understand it is more a hint of cheese builds and proxy strats

no, it's taken from "Matrix" or other science fiction films :P and it obviously refers to your opponent being VERY close to you
