haha, I remember it was a map used a lot for competive play back in the days. It looks like made in half an hour, there you see how much mapping has evolved. The creator of the original gauntlat is Blizzard, but I don't know who made the changes to get a "new" gauntlet.

The distances betwen bases are awesome. Never played this map, but seems interesting somehow :)

i think that the bases are too far apart a terran can pwn some face hard if you fly a building and unload with some tanks any buildings it would take a year to stop and if i were the terran i would fly my barrecks and build d for tanks and have open season on pretty much everything in either main base modified by flying69
