Overall looks interesting, but what about making one of those square types highground instead?

zerg rooks should be guards IMO

all your maps seem so basic and simple, maybe you could add some little things like a cliff or just make mutaharrass easier since on your maps the main/nat minerals are allways really save..

also you mixed up the colors, the down right field is ALLWAYS white T.t
well and the white queen has a white field, black one has a black etc :p
