Well Idk what is wrong with the thumbnail for the map type, I\'m not too sure what happened there. Basically I\'m pretty much stumped at this point. I have an idea of what I want to do with the middle of the map but the four biggest problems I have is that I\'m wasting so much space in the bottom, but I don\'t know what to put there or how to expand the map to use that more space. I\'m not sure if it\'s positionally balanced with each other and any help on how to fix that would be great. Three I think with that bottom space I can make the middle larger but I don\'t know how to do that at all, being new to this and all I\'m not sure how to go about that. Four I want there to be one more expansion for every base but I\'m not sure on how or where to put that either without endangering it with tanks seizing from the mains. I\'m confused on where to go and if I should just scrap it at this point. Assistance would be appreciated. I know that the community here is not as great as it once was, but I\'d like to think that helpful people still get one here once and a while. Thanks for your time and assistance if you do. Btw No deco yet, I want the map to be finished before i do that.

First of all, welcome to the site!

If this is actually your first map, I commend you for trying to start with something as difficult as a 3 player map. The biggest problem right now is probably the symmetry - the gap between the groups of bases at 7 and 3 is much larger than the gap between the other two pairs of bases. This is just something you'll have to correct manually. You could probably just set the map size to 128x112 to get rid of the wasted space at the bottom.

As for the layout, you should probably block one of the ramps into the natural with minerals or something destructible so P can fast expand. I'm kind of concerned with the map being so clearly divided into 3 sections of 3 bases - if one of the players manages to secure any of the bases in the unused cluster, it will be very difficult for the other player to take any of the other bases. I agree that the map needs 3 more bases, and they definitely need gas (6 gas is not enough), but I don't know where they would go. Expanding the map to fill the entire 128x128 space instead of cutting the map bounds will help give you more room to stick in the extra bases.

Yeah I was actually trying to make a 4 player map first, however I could not find the room with the size and type of rotational symmetry that I was trying to come up with and the best thing other than to scrap it was to make it into a shoddy 3 player map.

I thought about reducing the size, but if I did I can see that the center of the map being too small to hold large army skirmishes, especially if I were to include another 3 bases and trying to wedge in creative terrain and obstacles that would add to the diversity of the map compared to other crappy 3 player maps.

The password to the map is "1", simple enough. If you'd like to help me and give me an example of how a 3 player map is to use the space. I've looked at a couple and honestly it looks like a magic act, If it was the 1700's I would burn those 3 player map makers alive and call them witches.

I also know that the 7 o'clock base is about 12 or so grid plots away more from the 3 o'clock base than the other ones which are all equal to each other. I just don't know how I'd be able to put that 7 o'clock base into the correct positioning to add more overall land mass to the entire map that can be used for all the other players on the map. As it stands right now I'm still conceiving whether or not to whether or not scrap it or attempt to edit it further even though I know if I do fix it the out going product would be partially lacking.

By the way, how many people on this site are still active?
if you search the map (3)blackout, Freakling gives some details in the comments about 3 player maps. Looking at his 3 player maps is also good too, because his the only one who does them actively :)

And I do see potential for a 4 player map, buta it would have minor path issues.
