This is for the "Imbalance on purpose" competition.

A Terran map where the "natural" is the island near the choke, to float a CC up there. All other expansions got cliffs, and are well defendable from the "main fortress".

I created an extra route for fun, dunno if it has any good purpose. The idea was, that you don`t have to lift the Barracks anymore when you mine this mineral-blockade.
I also "invented" a "double wallin". If you build the wallin, you block two ways to the base at once.

Think that's an idea i will use in further maps as well, maybe i can get done quite well.
Value of blocking mineral?

This is a terran map, but imo it is a playable map, that can be fun with any race. So you could do "better" (flanking room in the middle) On the other hand, it is good when the map is still playable, nobody wants to play unplayable maps, even for test purposes.

yes, that's what i intended. A map that favours Terran a lot, but is still playable somehow. best playable with Terran of course.

btw, the min-only on mapedge is also wallable. In theory, a T can stay on his side, with 2 expansions where he can easily float his CC or a barrack to wall.
Just had to make the mineral-onlys look more natural ... i hate being a perfectionist :P
ah, and i know that the red base is bigger than the other one, but i won't change it, maybe with unbuildable gorund on the left mapedge, or water or something like that, but that would give airunits an advantage. I think it's enough building space on right side to call it balanced.
