SC II Mapping Help

First Question: When i change the X Y parameters it only moves the bridge dosen't make it larger.. ?! you talking about the Data Editor ?

Second Question: is did you manualy rotate and put the bridges in place or there is some way to snap them cuz rly i have a rly hard time puting doodads.. especialy on cliffs cuz they snap from top to bottom dosen't let me put them in the middle..

Suggestion: Why don't you upload Korhal Cove in a sc 2 maping site like "http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/" for example.. i would rly like to take a close look on it :)

Fog in cliffs is changable with data editor >> Terrain Texture sets >> Finding the terrain of your map >> editing "Fog Color"

i edited fog color to white and raised density, and i made a map which looks like its in the sky

p4e i think you should add more "fyling rocks" like the ones in the down left corner..

but its pretty limited in strategical options since all the cliffs are covered with doodads. No cliff hoping.

cliffs in main are very annoying since the reapers are so cheap and quick to make. but we can think that reapers are terran harass/pressure unit as mutalisks and void rays/warp prisms(personnal view)
and about collussuses, i can still remove some trees in the middle :o

I can't figure this editor out. How do you guys make decent looking maps with this thing? I can't do this without isometric squares to count or symmetry too. How do you even place starting locations? Or edit mineral amounts? If I want to make a highground main, how do I start? Just add a big blob of increase height and then use the evening tool?

Man read what i posted in the begining of the thread..

You don't need to count squares to make it symetrical.. make half of the map the copy rotate and paste it on the other side.. (one way to do it..) or use a grid there is 3 types from what i know..

For StartLocations click "P" the start location is the second icon next to the arrow

For highground mains click "T" for terrain
7 icons will apear the middle one is called "Cliff" click on that then the first one that has the same icon and it's called Raise Cliff

One click + hold makes 2nd level terrain
after that you repeat by clicking one more time on the 2nd lvl terrain that you already made and with holding the mouse button you "paint" your main.. but don't release the first button cuz then may be you'll have problems.. it's the most simple thing ever man lol..
