Starparty	the logo is availiable now. Btw panschk, could you make numbers showing how many pages there are in newswindow instead of just "next" and "previous"? its impossible if youre looking for a specific old post if u dont have admin login

panschk	there is a bug in the newscript display anyway. (show 10, but next button only scrolls 5 maps forward) I will fix it on the occasion...some day :P

LGI	@panschk, is it possible to make dates in comments in maps? I think this is a need! When someone rise an old map, and i don't know from where should i start reading.

Starparty	perhaps add which size the map has when submitting a new map. Like a roll with all the different options. Just leave blank for all maps not updated with it?

panschk	date: I am not sure if they are registered with the post yet. If they are, it would be easy to make them show. If they are not, changing it _now_ would not make much sense imo, as there are just too many posts where we won't know. Lemme see :) size: Like 128128, 9664 etc? Definitly a good idea. so we would handle all the old maps like this: "unknown" ? And I try to make a script that makes the editing of this pretty easy, so if someone wants he can edit it.

Starparty	make sure so its is obvious that 128x96 means 128 on WIDTH and not height and so on. This is mostly for us to be sure what size the map is when commenting. For most of us it is quite obvious, but for others it may not, and for first time users dling maps, it could be nice knowing etc..

Starparty	Could we also make some kind of a "sticky" on the front page for new users telling them whats up? Not how to make their maps, there are guides for that, but more how they should approach the site, like posting an initial comment about the map and not believing that we will praise it instantly like every other site cough pgtour cough and so on? I think that would be good. Also make clear that this is a site making maps for competitive playing. If they wanna argue with us about their sometimes obviously imbalanced maps - fine, but we will probably be right in 95% of the cases :)

flothefreak	ya, would like this. A short introdruction how to behave and what to expect, also things like "your map may be not as good as you think, accept it when it's criticized, we have more experience" ~~ maybe a striking button with red letters directly below the logo

panschk	okay... dates are not being saved, so I won't implement this (Don't get me wrong, it would have been a good idea 5 months ago, but I think it would cause some problems if added now) For the map size: the size is visible in the mapcomments right now, later I will add it to the maplist and search fkt. To mass-edit the sizes, please use this link: setsize.php

Listoric	Panschk, think about setting search criterias with check boxes as we said 3 months ago. would be easier to use and more detailed.

flothefreak	make something about the map-size-field. it sucks when editing. make it standard 128², or make a field to enter.
