Nightmarjoo asked me to post the maps i made, so here they are.
I did something like Arena Series.

In this map i modified the fog to make it like a sandstorm
(4)Wisdom Arena 124*124
The main thing in this map is the presence of xelnaga towers close to the main. So you can see what the opponent is building.

Backdoor natural. The special thing here is the walkable but unbuildable water.
(4)Might Arena 150*150
Mini natural in the main with a cliff. And map size is quite big but not huge ;)

It was really a pain in the ass to do positional balance, and even now, i'm not very happy with the result. I mixed 4 tileset in this map, braxis alpha, char, zakul'das, shakuras.
Xel Naga towers give a little vision of the main and nat's cliff(to do blink for example)

Patience Arena 124*124
Semi-island map with 2 golden minerals in the nat to make an exit faster. I sense a blink stalker abuse here.

Island map, outer paths between for reapers, collusus, blinkstalker...

An other island map, but this one has 2 "inbase" expands, plexa doesn't really like this one since the map does not make aggresive gameplay(take your expos, max 200/200, attack)
I am very interested what gameplay will emerge from these island/semi-island map :)

this map is special, i removed the unbuiladable/unwalkable edges. And because of this, in the editor you can't place units 3 squares near the edge and each square near the edge is unusable like the bottom line of squares in sc1

i finally achieved to make a decent 3 players map
if you look closely at the map, you will notice that the middle has the same layout than demon's forest except its without the LOS blockers(now its possible to make a real beautiful demon's forest but without the miss chances)
the mini expand in front of the main has 1gas with 5000 inside. the real third expo has a cliff behind it but the myriad of big spikes are unwalkable, xelnaga tower near the third give a vision of the cliff. ovy spot at the main

so this is a tau cross remake and i think sc2 really needs this map, it's completly different from the actual maps and it can only bring fresh air
there is a lot of unused terrain to make a positional balance for the space behind each expo. if the bounds were just near the expos, some of them(including nats) would have a lot of space behind them

It's the size in the editor. For example, for freedom arena, the limits are nearly all the cliffs. The middle-top minerals are 5-6 squares under the limit.
Well for freedom, since it's my first 3p map, i was just not able to do something complex. But the thing with the xelnaga tower is worth playing imo
sight arena is clearly experimental, since tanks are not powerful agains protoss anymore (thanks to immortal ;D ), it's possible to do tigher paths
btw, wisdom arena is kinda a (4)Palenque clone ;D

EDIT: One thing i've noticed that none of your maps has enviorment effects like rain storms or wind.. ;d you don't like to use them? ; modified by LasTCursE
i think island maps will be interesting in sc2, especially the forbidden zone like(colossus,blink,reaper,heavy use of medivacs, AND nydus worm) nydus worm is just so great even with the high gas cost

i ment like iccup releases a map pack they call it season 1 ;d or something.. and since you released one of your own we can call it p4e's season 1 gosu map pack =]

oh i see, well my method also works, it would be stupid from me to erase all the blockers and replace them by the layer. i'll do with your way in my next maps modified by ProTosS4EveR
The first map made me cream myself, really nice one for either a FFA or a 3v3 with randomized positions.
The geisers take alot of space though, i really don't like that part about SC2 :(
