Clan BWMN? page: 1 2 3 | ||
| I propose we start a clan. We already have a website, and plenty of people who play starcraft actively (or else they wouldn't be mapping). This way we can test each others maps frequently, and maybe have some tournaments or something. This would solve the "wtf motw maps should be tested" complaint. But if this is going to work we'll need alot of members so that we dont have like 1 person on bnet at a time. Then we have to decide to play on west, east, or even bnetx. I think a healthy clan number is 20 dedicated members at the least. How does feel about this? Is creating a clan a good idea? Or should just stop talking now and save myself some embarassment? (oh well, I've finished my speech anyway) | ||

| You wouldn't necessarily have to leave a clan your active in, just go to the clan channel with your other clan name, or make a new name for this clan and switch between, really not that inconvenient. I spose the only issue with this clan would be which server, all bnet servers lag, it would be nice to have it on bnetx. | ||

| It's a nice idea, that i really want to be in, but: 1. Most of the mappers here already got a clan. 2. I also got a clan, but i would leave it right a way to join BWMN. 3. We have to be in one server, which is hard... 4. You can't make me to play in any other server then PGT, because: 4.1. They have anti-hack system. 4.2. No lag. 4.3. They have good players. | ||

| I'd say that it should be located at PGT anyways. If someone was interested in hosting a bot in op bwmn on PGT all the time, that'd be great. If nobody else can, and there's motivation, I could do it, but that's a last resort, because I'm already hosting two bots. What's everybody's PGT accounts? | Why couldn't it be a real clan/team? Since this would be on pgt you're fine if your clan is on a noob server (bnet :( ). I suppose it would only hurt people in active pgt teams who don't want to leave, and even then you can still go to the channel without joining | ||
