i was trying to make a map accordign to AiurZ idea, and at the same time proving my theory of how to balance out protoss a bit better. Ive divided the basic center battlefield into 4 battleareas connected with unbuildable paths. A Protoss player would be smart to pick his fights in the corridors vs a zerg, and on the open areas vs a terran. Same goes for the other races depending on what they meet. And if you encounter a turtle push in a corridor, there is always the possibility to take the other way around.

In the center there is an island to break a tie in late game, or perhaps weird FE strategies, i dont know.

yap, looks actually balanced to me

i got a similar drawing that plays with the same idea (not similar to this map, but similar to the basic thought). i wanted to make it on space, though :P

nice done. not as "optical perfect" as many of your other maps, but still outstanding in execution. really nice map.
An okey map, i'd say 4/10 :P

id might create a new version with perfect execution, but this is a testversion to see if there is any poin tin the concept first.
I think it's a nice map, but nothing outstanding in my eyes. But hey, that's just me.

It's an okay map, but you've done a lot better imo.
It is not as stunning as some other maps, that might be why people say you made better maps. This might play well though, and that's still he more important thing.
Not liking this map. You should make the main smaller and add some more expos. There is 1 only expo for each main.

I like the island in the mid though.
Cross positions are gonna suck a big one.
"BoboTastic", that was the point in this map.

Anyway, looking at this picture really helps me sleepin' again, n8 :P
I don't like the island in the middle, I think that it gives a pretty large advantage to terran, who can set up an island expo here by lifting, and since there's sp many resources here they will have money that the other two races wouldn't have by this point. It's one savign grace is that its in the middle surrounded by rocks, so the cc would have to be built far away, and therefore float for a ways and be easily spotted and/or attacked. I think there's just too much there resource-wise.
