Hello everyone, it's been like 5 months since I was last active on this site.

So now I'm back into melee map making. I've uploaded three maps I recently made so tell me what you think. It's been a while since I've made a map so I might be rusty when it comes to the basics so help me out. Thanks!

Well for me the idea whit the terrain is not really new, you can check one of my maps (4)The Coming Dark Age. Anyway there i've try to do the diffrence more whit doodads instead of terrains. So the main problem here for me is the path finding. Cross and bottom to bottom/top to top path finding seems gay.

The top vs top/bottom vs bottom - all those cliff walls are just getting on the way and i am sure many players will curse them when they are in a battle there, because they won't be able to do their micro and probebly fucked up.

Cross positions path finding - They might split a lot in the bridge/terrain spot and then the water in the center. It's just too much splits, imo. One is good because it even helpes some time for protoss and zerg, because those two reaces awalys need to attack the terrain from at least two sides.

Anyway both path findings should be tryed whit 40-50 units each.

vaah the bottom part is quite ugly :PP

and i dont know so open, maybe too open. terra have hard time when they secure the faraway expansions. maybe the expandind to the island is the solution, but i see little anti-terranistic execution. of course i might be wrong :)

Yea this map is one that needs alot of work. I really rushed this map, so it'll probably need to undergo extreme makeovers.

When I have time, I'll have to change this map alot, cuz you've brought up alot of good points.

Now as far as the looks, the map is one of my uglier ones, but unless I change the theme of the map, there isn't too much that I can do.

hmm an attack early on might be hard for t for the room and unbuildable properties, however the island is liftable to and the expos are a great place to setup a push thing; they are buildable and fairly tight, t will be able to defend his expos easily so I don't think the map hurts t too much. Also I think the map is more of a 2v2 map, and balance is different there than in a 1v1.

I didn't read all the comments before mine, but I agree with all who said the map is awesome.A simple and effective concept.Here and there the execution lacks a bit, but on the whole a lovely one.
