Ended up being more like Outsider than I hoped.
Middle is completely unbuildable and represents the state of my brain while thinkin gof something to put in the middle.
Mains are quite large but because of the shape, I think it won't feel too big while playing. Recalls might be a problem in PvT.
Some horizontal mineral lines have overlapping mineral blocks.
I have yet to do test mining times. I'm going to do that in my next edit.
As always, no doodads yet.
Single mineral blocks are 5000 so you won't be able to mine it out unless you're very dedicated to it and spend tons of time and money.
Main-main pathing is good if you start your units between your minerals and the ramp and send them to your opponent's main.
Mineral wall minerals have either 749 or 750 minerals each.
You can attack the lowground third from the mineral wall (both sides) with ranged units but not the other way around.
|Katrina meets Outsider here. I think this map has a lot of cheese potential, especially for Terran, who can fly over mineral blocks to produce Vults/Wraiths at enemy main.|
But the center is way too plain and open. You could at least fit an expo there, or maybe some little cliffs. As a T player I vdon't like unbuildable areas, but it's your choice.
And I like expo layout: 3rd Gas will probably something to fight for.
