-Defeat screen only when you and your ally has died.

-Map is greyed out at the start of the game rather than blacked out, so the layout of bases and terrain is visible.

Version 0.1 Tantalus
This is quite polished already for a 0.1; the nats, ht holes around the nats, tank holes everywhere else, walling at all bases, deco.

Ive left it with quite a lot of turret holes, dont intend to change that for now.
I will probably host this quite a bit (not the 3v3 maps).

I've been in SUM sever, it's dead. Map seems interesting but I don't get why you still keep making 'em for them? You saw nobody interested and giving feedback and I'm pretty sure no one will gonna play it.I like that part when you gave name god of Tantalus but can you normalize it for normal ladder of this days? What about trying to make 2x2 for modern 2x2 ladder ?

I will play this map if you will make it 1x1. I think you have great potential so don't leave making them real maps, all what we need.

Thanks for the encouragement, I would like to make more maps but it is time consuming.
With mapping, my advice is to make what you want first and foremost.
If you wanna play super unit mod, I reckon the best way to do so is to organise a time.
Ive had some good games on this map so far and Im looking forward to playing it more.

There is definitely a gap in the market for 2v2 maps that can be played in top vs bottom mode, and the mapmaker would have a lot of freedom for creativity. I might be interested to play around with this. Id probably rather just do a 1v1 map though.
But I only just finished this map, so the next thing Im going to do is play more games here and have some fun with it.

You say you would play this map if I made it 1v1. I will probably do this for a laugh at christmas or something. By the way, did you know that the mains and nats are exactly the same as on Latin Quarter?

Thats nice you think I have potential. I think you do too. Birds Nest is awesome. Tantalus is very much for competitive play and its properly polished. It has to be hosted in ums mode so it cant ever be a ladder map yes, but people can still play it as competitively as they want.

We have introduced 8 new foreign maps to iccup map pack over the last year. In some ways if you release too many at once then they compete with each other.
