darkstar | | | My most recent map. It's intended to be a map for standard play. I started with the good old Fighting Spirit and ended up adding more high ground play and outer bases (6 and 9) which are more difficult to defend and open up for a more active game style instead of turteling your way through the game.
My first attempt at decorating the map with some custom terrain is seen in the center where i fused the "ruins" terrain with bridges and ramps.
This is the first version which is still up for changes and needs ground doodads at many areas. | darkstar | | | Protoss wall for FE are too far out on the map, i noticed this while playtesting and will adjust the cliffs in the naturals. | darkstar | | | Updated:
- less space between Nexus/CC and wall ins at natural locations
- changed 12 and 6 o'clock bases to add high ground advantage and go more with the general theme of the map
