What's the reason for the slight asymmetries?
I feel like new mapmakers just turn on xy-symmetry or whatever it is and just plop stuff down (idk if you are new, im just assuming), but the results are these random but small asymmetries.
This didn't really happen with scmdraft 8.0 if i remember correctly. | JungleTerrain | | | map seems pretty big, i discourage 128x128 for 2 player maps unless you know how to use the space effectively.
the ramps are just sloppily pasted, although it could just be cuz its beta.
aesthetically not pleasing at all. Snow tiles are just terrible for playing on, hurts the eyes like hell, nobody likes them unless they're one of those weirdos.
Don't really see any prevailing concept, just expansions thrown around the map with vast wastelands and a basic small path-large path dynamic in the middle. This isn't necessarily an issue but I would recommend working on basics... at least starting by correcting the straight lines they look ugly. No it's not your "style".
I don't know if you speak English based on your username but maybe some of this gets through to you or anyone who stumbles upon this XD | 阿里巴巴02 | | | Without using any tools, I usually draw on paper, calculate the number of squares, and draw by hand to achieve symmetry. Your suggestion is very helpful to me, I will improve it. |
