panschk[FP] | | | I think it was Spor[Mech] who made the "terran map" where you could shoot the other mains from your own with tanks. I liked the idea, even though the map was of course much to imbalanced to be serious. So I tried to use something similar but less powerful.
I wanted to put a "real" island expansion somewhere too, but I don't know where I could put it to make tank gayness impossible on it.
How do I do to get the great jpg-look you get on your maps ? I know travin uses tonnes of doodads, I actually prefer terrain changes for decoration if possible, Starparty does that very well. I guess I just have to invest serious time in it:[ | AiurZ | | | certain terrain transitions look better for different purposes, and doodads are the same way.
i usually think the more doodads you can get (providing that it doesnt screw up the gameplay of the map like pelenor) the better. thats why on sad sad autumn and eden of aiur and to some extent spathic has like 50 billion doodads everywhere. but then my maps dont look as good as anybody elses, so im probably wrong
it depends a lot on what kind of look you are going for though. | decaf | | | Check the gmcs for where i would make island expos
Also the resource set up in top left/bottom is boring.
Just little preference things, you dont have to change em | panschk | | | yeah, that is a good possibility. I could add another small expo not far from there too.
