Things you hate about SC page: 1 2 | ||
| W/e you hate about sc and sc editing post here. I just wanted to see how many people feel the same way as I do about the stupid little things that\'s purpose seems only to annoy. There is no need to filter yourself here as this thread is not to argue about if the things you hate are justifiable. Just tell it like it is. Then sweeten it up with one or two things you love about sc. - - - This is now where I vent my frustration from all the stupidity I face on a day-to-day basis. - - - I\'ll start as there is a lot I\'ve found to hate: - I hate placing water next to high dirt with the symmetry feature on. - I hate off center mineral formations from copy pasting. - I hate siege tanks ruining all my map concepts. - I hate how there are no back ramps by default. - I hate how Koreans are just better at anything related to sc in general. - I hate how you can not have a second story where the first story and second story are both traversable. - I hate Ragnasaurs and Rhynadons. - I hate how my scmdraft is bugging out all the time. - I hate the gas issue. - I hate mineral formations mining different. - I hate the Badlands tileset - I fucking hate having to find the right doodads/tiles to patch tank holes. - I REALLY HATE Python, most uncreative map ever. - I hate putting neutral spells or neutral Arbitors in maps. - I love kakarus. modified by Phobic | ||

| Alot of things phobic said! -I hate how when placing buildings, the nex/cc/nexus isnt 5x5 like in SCII -hate how high outpost and high compound unbuildable -hate how SCMdraft crashes on me -hate games when flash or jaedong loses -hate ash -hate how NO SNOW IN PRO MAPS -hate how pylons are oval, not circle -Limited doodads -hate when your teammate is a noob -blizzard maps -freakling(jk XD ) -LAGGGG -That cliffs on the bottom are one matrix bigger than the top cliffs! -Crappy mineral placement! -Lastcurses deco on desert! >:O Dont say my maps are better than yours! found more! -how limited map sizes are -that brood war is dying -all these new comer in the pro scene -now ALWAYS in the newest updates there is ALWAYS A TILESET MISSING -Doodads you can build on but not walk on. | -the stupid slash thing that apears after every ' i write when i edit a comment -how KeSPa's maps are the only ones getting played -Python and Hunters -how the editor crushes when i haven't made a save -that terrain blends from on top are 1 hex further -how i can't simply copy paste the mineral lines that i want to move (i got a tutorial on how to move em tho for whoever is interested) -how you have to make sprites neutral instead of just them being that way by defaults -templars and dt's -that the last MOTM is from an year ago lol -gas issue that makes me do weird placements in my mains -that sprites give me errors in melee games and move to places that i don't want them to be in -that if i click something by accident it deletes everything i just wrote -.- -crystal/freakling's ice bridge deco =D -that the same doodad in the ice terrain is both buildable and unbuildable depending if it's high or low dirt.. -how there is no good reverted ramps for many terrains -lezerg's yellow name Crystal how do you hate my desert deco since i never posted a desert map in here :P | ||

| I hate that there's a ton of idiots on iccup who won't play maps unless they are kespa maps. I hate siege tanks ruining everything. I hate that zerg defensive buildings cost 1 larva and 175 minerals take way to long to build and can only attack ground or air. I hate map hackers drop hackers etc. I hate that overlords have 200 life when supply depots have 500 and pylons have 600. I hate that I can't put water next to a cliff because the top tiles are 1 hex smaller. I hate how the tiles in the ash tileset don't line up the same way the other ones do. I hate that there are units like scouts that are almost entirely useless in every situation. I hate that there are no normal inverted ramps. I hate that noone plays starcraft anymore. I hate that I can say that I play starcraft and people ask me for my friend code because they think I'm talking about sc2. I hate that noone I know in real life and on b.net appreciates starcraft mapping. I hate that no-one I know understands how important starcraft is in video game history. I hate limited map sizes/locations/sprites/strings I hate that there is no lurker hero/medic hero/devourer hero/corsair hero. I hate that blizzard only cares about making money anymore. I hate that I give up on maps sometimes because no-one is going to play them. I love that starcraft can be edited. I love that feeling I get when someone is playing one of my maps. I love all the cool people I get to meet :D | ||
