Starparty	I have remotely begun creating War3 maps too, and was wondering if we should have a little section for custom .w3m too? :o

panschk	Hm, I don't think that would be a good idea. I was thinking about creating maps for other games too, but Imo this page should only be about broodwar maps. Any other opinions?

Listoric	I alraedy thought about this beeing a plattform for other games as well, but we should fix everything to a satisfying point to think about something like that. but if we do this step, we should have something like a startpage to choose games.

panschk	Well it's called "broodwar"maps.net after all. Imo we should not try to make this a multi-game page. I can support you if you want to create a similar database for other games, but things would have to be so different anyway that merging them would not make much sense.

Starparty	But waredit is an ___incredible___ strong mapmaking tool. i already made a war3 version of götterdämmerung and it looks awesome... by time this site should expand. If we focus on the stuff we do (no offense, but this was not the right site to host a league like that :( ), then we can't fail. especially for newer games we could have a chance to be popular as one of the first map fan-sites for that particoular game

Listoric	I'm a bit dissappointed after WhiteLies was in the mappack for ESL, BUT, all players could play maps they wanted to as long as both players agreed on that... waht that meant was obvious, the all played the same bullshit boring imba maps :/ but, i wanna see your wc3 version.

Listoric	Ah, i "cleaned" some GMCS pictures, only 3 so far, after the others are just to fucked up with this purple area around it. Maybe you check it out and change them as well panschk. No idea where you got those graphics from anyway, screenshots or?!

panschk	of course screenshots. purple is my transparent color, so the area around the units is in purple. Different types of purple though, so some are not declared transparent:( Well I don't care enough to fix that, maybe you do :D

Listoric	When you go back in the newsscript, with the last page button for example, you get back, but some old articles and newsposts are displayed as well then... quite strange.. maybe you check that panschk ^^

flothefreak	There should be a possibility to list the map going for the date of the last comment. So that you can list all maps an got the ones on the top, where the last comment is to be answered for example. You know what I mean? Like, there are the 6 newest maps linked in the newsticker. But there is a discussion running the 7th-last map. At the moment, I wouldn't see this. If I could list all the maps with the recent comments, I'd see that there are topical comments. I'd love it :>

panschk	Right bar -> latest comment on top. click on "newest updates" and you get top25 or something of latest comments. Is it that what you mean?

Listoric	Hmm.. i think that's what he is looking for. The "newest updates" on rihgt hand side are always in the order of the last comment on top. If you click on "newest upgrades" you also get a list of the maps last commented on, as pansck describes, and there is a red * on every map on which was commented today.

Listoric	Or, well, changed in any way, if picture updated, new version to download or comment, everything "new" will put a map on first place in the list
