panschk	The only reason I can think of is that the system clock at my webhost is not working correctly from time to time. There is not too much I can do about that :/ (At least I did not chance the script at all..)

Listoric	Could you add something like a "unable to create newspost, same name already used - overwrite?" I just accidently overwrote an older motw post (murphys law, it was Amistad...) beacuse i fucked up the week? (that will never happen to me again, but just as an idea :)

panschk	Oh I did not realize it worked like that. "title" should not be the primary key, then that should not happen... I will look at that tomorrow.

panschk	ok, I hope I fixed the competetion thing now. It actually _was_ my fault and not the servers, I hope it works now (I used a very weird and complicated system because I did not save dates as dates but as strings when I began. that's why date-related stuff are trouble sometimes -_-

Listoric	Ow... hmm.. maybe it was my fault at all. I copied the MOTW "basic text" from Amistad to have some links and the layout of the newspost. I pasted it into a *.txt file, changed it, pasted it "back" again ( i thought it was the "new newspost" not still the "edit (Amistad) newspost") and edited the old newspost that way. Just thought about that, maybe i did it like that. I was tired and confused. But check it if i just typed the wrong week and overwrote it. I`m just not sure anymore ^^

Listoric	Hmkm.. i wanted to see the "last commented on FORUM posts" and clicked on forum on the right side, but it only links me to the forum. Is t possible to have atopic list (like the newest map list) as well?

panschk	hm forums normally don't work like that. For example in the broodwar.de forum, you would always browse to the forum in which your thread is. Your advice would pretty much mean that the forum sub-categories would be removed again.

Starparty	maplist limit = 100 maps! it takes forever to look them all through and when you sort by something, like comments - MAX comments on top. Noone is interested in seeing what maps has no comments at all :P

Listoric	Wel, i'm interested in that :o) a switch would be cool, or something like "move to the first/last page" but a definit YES to the limit. i also hate it to put in the limit again and again (i always insert 400...) ^^ btw, don't remove the subcategories, maybe show the 5 last forumposts on right hand side and cut them down to one row somehow. best would be something like: * Feedba... (Starparty) but the name also in a smaller font, so that that doesn't take up much space, but is still displayed?

Listoric	Yeah, everything should, and why is a space between [Articles] and the relating articles below it? Same on Forum and Competition. why is this space there? and if you really want to have space, then add it at the bottom below every article.

Starparty	actually we are beginning to get so much info that panschk would probably need to rearrange the menus completely. * head menu on top like TL * Forums on one side stretching from general (main) to feedback * competitions, motw and other events on the other side. perhaps if you ever considers making bwm2.0 :)
