here's another map i just finished. no remake this time, allthought it kinda turned out more "ride of valkrys"-like then planned. ^^

the resources are..

main: 8M + 1G
nat: 6M + 1G
min-only: 6M

6o'clock, 9o'clock, 3o'clock: 8M + 1G
1o'clock, 11o'clock: 6M + 1G

that's 3 1/2 gas-expos and 1 min-only per player.


other "features" of the map:
..you've got a wide choke with two min-blocks (value: 2) narrowing it a bit. one of the mins is in the middle of the choke, so no "classic" wall-in for t
..behind youre nat is a semi-cliff with a ramp and 4 blocking mins (value: 16)
..the middle is unbuildable
..uhm.. funky ramps :D

i dont see much rov element.. the natural placing is really different, it reminds me of comet and there is no island expansion below

A "Geisterfahrer" is someone who drives on the wrong side of the road, like driving on the left side in germany and most other countries. This is pretty dangerous;)

The name of the map tells us immediatly: this is a noname map:)
edit: looks nice, reminds me of Valhalla by Spitfire.

It seems like z could secure the mineral only first instead of the nat, and get a lot of resources early azalea style; I'm not sure if that's bad, and I think the nearby cliff is close enough to make tanks a real problem for that to work, but zvt azalea doesn't seem to favour z heavily at all, if at all really, it's p that is hurts the most, and p doesn't have tanks, so i think zvp favours z if they take the mineral only 1st.

It also really reminds me of RoV, still it looks like a fun map to play, nicely done. Also, some replays would be great, especially TvZ and TvP as always.

pansck// ya, the main setup is kinda similar to valhalla. but it's a cool main setup, so i think it's ok to re-use it ^^

nightmarjoo// but a z going for fast expand at the minonly should have a hard time defending his expo and main at the same time imo. p could also use the backdoor i such a case. would need only 2 probes to mine a hole and the scouting-probe is allready there.

listoric// as always i would be glad to show replays. i would like to watch replays myself aswell, to see if everything turns out as planned.. but like i said i don't know any gamers and don't play myself :/

I never understood what the mini-minerals wall behind your nat is good for... against terran, you'd mine it off, certainly, because of tanks. In the other mus it usually does not matter a lot. You can't use it to attack from behind, because it does not lead around your opponent's defenses, you can only use it als an alternative route to leave your base (for example when contained), and then you'd just mine it off, too...
