I like this map (first impression)

Just some information about the map. I've tested with siege tanks and determined that the gas in the bottom main cannot be reached from outside the wall. The observer version allows for six observers.

I forgot to add that both mains can be walled off by one barracks.

I think this map has the same problem my (2)S ignal had. The choke of the natural is too big and you will have hard time to protect it ... that's my suggestion. I think it's a very good map overall :)

The natural choke doesnt really matter as long as the expansion covers the choke to your main base good :P

The choke to the natural DOES matter. That's why we hear comments like "and z is supposed to build what -- 8-10 sunks?!?!" when the naturals is too exposed. It's not a big problem on this map though.

Um no. For example, the natural has no choke at all on blade storm. I never heard you need 100 sunkens on BS to defend.

btw this is a test for a new feature too;)

Well, I'm no z, but I just heard so many people complaining about wide entrances at tl.net. but they might just be whiners.

wide entrances make Z>P which is problematic since there's already a slight Z>P tinge to anything but a paradoxxx or bloodbath type map.

look at the entrance to the nats of jungle story, temple, bifrost, jim raynor's memory ... u must make it easier to defend the nat (with photons) than any of those maps.

lol, there are not many maps where it is easier to defend the natural than on LT (choke-wise at least. The distances are rather short in comparision with other maps.) The main reason LT is zerg-friendly are the cliffs imo.

if this map is 128x128 (i don't have sc on this computer so i can't tell right now) then it has farther distance than any matchup on LT, which also is Z>P

It is 128*128. The Layout is favoring zerg over protoss, but there are not that many gas expos on the map. This evens it out pretty well imho.

I think this map is great designwise (wich is my area :) ) The name is -perfectly- suited for the map!

Great map i look for Expos all along the paths to the enemy bases in maps that i like to game on.
