THis map was designed to open new routes as you play. the main minerals has 2 slots with decreased minerals to make the wall mined open just before a normal tankdrop would arrive to harass. (measured in-game :) ) had some great games on this one, and i will add atleast 1 good replay shortly.
I like it, the players decide if they want to have more than one route it can be advantageous for them or completly a disadvantage. The only think i can think of is that do you think there's too much doodads in the middle that block the way a bit so moving armies around middle would be hard?
its biggesr than it looks and most of them is walkable. it looks worse than it is :P

looks nice and should be rather balanced. But could favor terran a little
Mabye if you refering to all the harrasing possibilities. But i think all races can use thse opportunities to some extend..
the play on this looks interesting. the shape is beautiful, but maybe you should rethink some of your use of crushed rock/flagstones. they dont seem to be as beautiful as the overall design or balance.

this is another favorite map. i have so many. maybe i should keep a list.
This map is released and some players actually played it for a while.. so im not gonna release a new ver just because of the visual apearance :P Although i do get you point. I couldn't spell to starforge when i made this one :P And i probably think it lokked really got at the time (though i still think it looks good) :o

There _are_ to many doodads in the center, and since when are doodads walkable? O_o Except these Blizzard signs or other gate-style doodads...

But i like the mineral ideas and the design of the map as whole.
almost half of all the doodads in staredit are walkable. that includes all from grass to the shiny stuff on the crevices wich you presume are not walkable :P

Maybe we could do butterfly lovers, but I'm not sure about the dimensions.

It was the only way I could make a somewhat realistic butterfly.
But first of - read butterfly lover comments :)
Secondly, that map IS build on design rather than playability. I trust that it is playable too, but to this competition i believe it is the wrong way to begin.. if you understand what i mean. Not that the map shouldnät be beautiful, but gotterdammerund is made with interesting playability in mind, this was made with a butterfly in mind ;)
