Ok, this is my latest shooting star. Ive worked on it for about 2 weeks now aside from the other projects. I decided to decorate this alittle, since that seems to be back in fashion again :P The map is otherwise, according to myself, a solid 1on1 map which doesnt break any obvious rules and thus just has to be playable :0
ps. Space tileset is my favorite :o
I consider pathing as a "pain in the ass" in mid/late game :/
think goons are getting crazy :)
btw, my Staredit "erased 44 old things blabla" after i opened it.
crazy map, but it roxx.
but those bridges in front of the mainbase-choke, they should be one, shouldn't they? for there are terrain errors between them
space is my favorite too SP~
I've actually had people complain about me making multiple space maps in a row
There is no flanking space on this map. I don't think it can work (Terran favoring)
labyrinth.. cool ^^ I think great perhaps T-favoring a bit
Wow- some map! ^^ though there are a bit unusual expansions found, I think it'd be fun to play-
It is one bridge, its just that scm draft is a really useless program that destroys my StarForge builds and i will never use it again.
pathing really isnt a problem. Just imagine for yourself that every space(water terrain) is a wall instead. Then the map suddenly became very open. See what i mean?
Space is the best terrain imo. It has small, long, and semi-wide bridges before starforge. Large ramps that can still be walled. It has mini stair ramps. Straight lines for the water, tar, etc. tiles. Plus its fucking space, you can't fuck with space it'll kick your ass.
I like the design of the map but I really dislike all those plating lines. I dont mind plating, but the scattered thin amounts of plating everywhere bugs the shit out of me in game. It makes it harder to watch the minimap for blips. Other than that, its gosu.
design > playability! :D
I had a game with hefty, and my concerns pvt are really no problem. Plays quite well;)
great :9
random map. How do you defend those mineral onlys in the middle of no where? Otherwise looks really nice.
