Sorry to upload the same map(well actually not the same map), twice.
I reduced some hills and provided some open space. I didn't changed anything on the center, but changes in the outside expansion is affect much in positive way. And I added 1 mineral on first expansions.
| panschk | | | Man I really need to get rid of this script problem. I'll spend an hour on it later today, maybe I can finally nail it...
Using Frefox is a safe way of overcoming this in the meanwhile!
On the map: Looks totally different :o
IMHO 2 of the 4 middle expos should still be gasless, and with less minerals too.
at the top right corner expansion yóu can not build addon, I would fix that.
Overall, this map is too "rich" for such a difficult to play concept imo. Players will struggle a bit with the quite narrow multipaths, they should not handle very big macro at the same time. Look Raid assault, where you don't swim in minerals and even less in gas. | LGI | | | GMCS suggestion, shows my opinion, about the resurs on the map. If you leave it that way, this will be a terrible mistake. Just look at how easy you can take so many gas expansions... I had the same problem in Kin Dza Dza with only one easy reachble gas, and the terran was in advantage, sice his tanks are 100 gas, and he have no problem, because of that easy gas. And here... Terran can easyly protect at least 3 gas stations. Main, and the 2 nearest exps.
About the map. It looks now more mobile. I think this is better. | Diminate | | | I updated some new shape here. I edited some features of the center and position of expansions.
The size of the center is reduced and the valley between them was deleted. And I tried wide ramp for the first time.
And you can see new gas expansions.
Between this map(Farewell to the Moon III) and modified version of previous map(Farewell to the Moon II), I'll decide the final version.

II with corner expansion like III = best imo. | Diminate | | | I think your resource suggestion is based on Raid-Assault.
However if we see results of R-A,
T : P = 7 : 20
Z : P = 21 : 10
Z : T = 35 : 27
You can see that the map has much favor on zerg. Especially in Z v P, Z overwhelms. I think this is because of few gases. Well this kind of multi-route map basically gives advantage to zerg but Others can deal with it by resources. That's why I'm placing at least 4 gas expansions.
Well corner expansion on II is quite easy to take, but it is the same situation for the opponent.
However until I play some games here, I cannot say anything in sure. I'll play with my friend some ZvP or TvP games. | panschk | | | Let's continue discussion on raid assault here.
