panschk	I don't see any bookmark icon. Where is it supposed to be?

Starparty	That is very cool! :) Pancshk. add the site as a favourite, and youll see a nice icon in your favourites list :) thats the bookmark icon!

Starparty	Listoric, left align the banner then, since the banner is left aligned on the page it looks weird with the black border. put all the black on the right side if u know what i mean.

Listoric	Ok, i changed it, and i found something. I use Firefox 1.0.4 and the "glowing" effcts of "NEWS" for example isn't displayed. As well as the page itself seems to be displayed differently. The whole News tablet as well as the MOTW-Banner in the Comment Section of the regarding MOTWs is not centered, it's left aligned somehow ?! The Forum instead is perfectly centered. Wonder why this is such a big difference and the first difference i spot concerning Firefox / InternetExplorer. Strange :/

Listoric	You can spot the "favicon.ico" when you go to broodwarmaps.net and push the NEWS button again, for example, then it is displayed in my firefox, as well as it is displayed in the forum here. So, panschk you should add it somehow to the www.broodwarmaps.net page. Ok, while writing this i read that you don't see the icon panschk, and again, a difference between IE and FFox. The Bookmark icon (called favicon.ico) is only displayed on every site with www.panschk.de in my firefox. As a feature of Firefox (so it seems) the bookmark icon is always visible in front of the URL in the browser then. The bookmark icon is as well displayed in IE, but there only when you really bookmark something from the www.panschk.de page. It is NOT displayed when you enter over www.broodwarmaps.net (what i do because its the sweeter URL ;) So, you should add it somehow. Here is a little hint how it may be possible. Dunno where to put this, that's why i`m posting it here.

Starparty	List/panschk, u got msn? plz tell me you do and then add tottebond@hotmail.com id love to talk designing ideas with you, cause i think we should start thinking about basic visual graphic, wich shouldn't take long time loading at all. I think panschk has developed the system good enough to start focusing a bit on visuals

Starparty	If someone dissagrees (panschk <3) Think of it as an investment since you could always use this page as reference to what you can do in webdesigning :) the better it looks the better response you will get from it :9

Listoric	As said - IRC - QUakenet - #MMTC or #broodwarmaps.net or ICQ 51192781 - Listoric Anyway, i will be away the next motnhs, just visiting the site when i get into raech of a PC, because i will be away from home during holidays, working at the golden gates (McDonalds :P) So the visuals "may" have to wait till i`m back ;) Beter think about, what the navigation could look like, as well as the page itself, it would be cool to have a "real frame" surrounding the news, embedding the frames on the left an d the right (like broodwar.de i.e.)

panschk	Some graphics are ok, we should just not get overboard and reach staredit.net or broodwar.de -slowness. That sucks. Well when talking about style, I should not be involved, I like bright colors way too much, people say that get eye cancer :O

Starparty	The biggest reason staredit is so slow (besides their unnessecary "advanced" system, is that the users have avatars and signatures bigger than the internet. you gotta do a thoroughly search between all the images and quotes to actually find what the person in question posted... Some tastefull graphics will slow down the site opening for a modemuser with maximum of 3-5 seconds (first entry, after that the image is stored in temp, and if you wash continously - blame yourself :P )

Listoric	Ow, haven't seen this yet. Paint fuckes up the picture if you safe it as .jpg... hmm... i will edit all of them and safe it as .jpg with Slowview, i just tested it and there is no quality loss at all... fuck ms :/ i change the banner if i got time today. cya :)

Starparty	When you got time, could you consider changing the arrow on the image to be a upside down "V" like it is in the game. it would look really cool imo
