I agree with trcc. Old one had a better flow and felt more like Caribbean Islands. New one is kinda lumpy and oblong like. Also, I think the expansions feel a bit cramped.
me too, the first one just seemed more comprehendable.

i didn't have that much of inspiration, time and interest lately, but i think atleast the interest is back around. :)

i think this map is 100% awesome. best looking island map i have seen. i don't really know how island games work, so i can't judge balance on it.
I doubt the small bridges work, as i tested a map with bridges like that, unit couldn't get over them without hell lot of micro. also it doesn't add anything to gameplay, so, just take normal ones.

Except that, nice airmap. But the islands in the center are almost only defendable with Terran goliaths, after there is no building space for spore colonies or cannons.

It's good, but i prefer the original version by now.
100% the first one was better!
okay the small bridges do work without micro, but units squirm a lot to get through and it takes a while. i would go with normal size bridges. make all the terrain in the middle buildable, and put more room on the expos along the outside, like the mineral only nats. you have the room for it.

i still like this more than the original
